Responsibilities

• Imaging Procedures: Perform diagnostic tests by preparing and using radioactive drugs, administering them to patients, and creating images to identify abnormalities. Utilize Nuclear Camera and PET-CT. • Quality Control: Conduct daily, monthly, quarterly, and/or annual quality controls on Survey Meter, Dose Calibrator, and Well Counter. • Patient Interaction: Explain imaging procedures to patients, answer their questions, and ensure the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) concept is maintained. • Radiopharmaceutical Management: Order radiopharmaceuticals, calculate, measure, and record radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals used or disposed. • Communication: Present information to patients, other providers’ offices, and the general public, as required.
